  • OpenAI API Key Required: Ensure you have an OpenAI API key. GPT-4 is the recommended version for this plugin.
  • Manual or Random Selection: The plugin doesn’t automatically determine the best location for a link. You can manually select a spot, or allow the plugin to randomly choose one.
  • Sentence Optimization: Currently, added sentences are optimized for the internal link itself, not necessarily the surrounding paragraph content. (Feature improvement is underway).
  • Link Placement: Sentences with internal links are typically appended to the end of a paragraph.
  • Publication Status: The tool works with live Pages or Posts; drafts are not supported (yet).
  • Keywords in Permalinks: Ensure your permalinks contain relevant keywords for best results.

Based on the context and OpenAI’s algorithms, Lazy Linker suggests appropriate contextual internal links in complete sentences. This not only boosts SEO but also enhances user experience by providing relevant content recommendations.

Lazy Linker is unique because it uses the advanced capabilities of OpenAI. This means it can generate not just links, but contextually appropriate and naturally flowing sentences that enhance the readability and value of your content. For other tools, you need the keyword already in the content. With Lazy Linker, it writes a sentence for you with the internal link for you.

Here are 3 suggestions:
1) Make sure you have selected GPT-4.
2) There is a Re-Generate button that has OpenAI create another unique version.
3) Change the prompt in the settings. You can tailor it to how it will best suit your needs.

You need an OpenAI account with an API key. It is very simple to setup, even if you aren’t technical. This is what allows the lifetime pricing. You are charged based on how much you use it. Our usage has shown each link generated is less than 1 cent per link created and made live. We are working on trying to bring the pricing to be way less than that.
